10.00am - 17.30pm «Wikipedia and more» regional languages and Open Source technology. Live relators from Catalunya, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy take turns with video contributions from all over the world. The videos are also dubbed in Piedmontese Language to be broadcast to the people who are present in town.

Some of the many themes being addressed are:

  • ISO 639-6
  • Remote e-learning
  • A new generation in CAT tools
  • Technology and marginalised languages
  • Children Rights in Africa: The children being forbidden to speak their mother languages in schools
  • The Open Nursery Project, a world-wide archive of childhood linguistic content
  • Venetian Region: How regional languages can help integrating the elders with the youth

Raffaele Costa.
